FAQs

Before the questions begin...

This page addresses the deeper questions many of us are quietly asking about violence, fear, peace, and humanity’s future. These answers are not meant to persuade through ideology, but to invite reflection, awareness, and a new way of thinking—one rooted in responsibility, compassion, and shared human dignity.

Why do we keep killing each other?

We are trapped in a 10,000-year cycle of denial, fear, and addiction. War is not simply a political choice—it functions like an addiction we continue to rationalize and enable. Instead of confronting this pattern with honesty and forgiveness, humanity acts as a codependent to systems that profit from fear, particularly the defense industry. Until war is recognized as a learned and destructive behavior—and we find the courage to release it—the cycle continues.

Is humanity violent by nature?

No. Violence is not our hereditary nature or innate trait—it is an acquired mutation born from fear-based survival logic that no longer serves us. Humanity is fundamentally spiritual, thriving on connection, compassion, and equilibrium, but has been trained to respond to fear. Because violence is learned, it can also be unlearned. Releasing this mutation allows us to return to our true potential for creative progress and shared honor.

Is peace just an unrealistic dream?

Only to those trapped in the old logic. History shows that every great leap forward—from human flight to the once-radical idea of a round earth—was initially dismissed as “impossible” or “foolish.” Yet it has always been those willing to imagine beyond accepted limits who propelled civilization forward; without them, humanity would still be confined to its earliest stages of development.

In a cynical world, optimism may appear naïve, but it is far more foolish to remain negative when negativity has fueled wars that have resulted in more than 3.5 billion deaths.Peace is not a fantasy—it is the next milestone waiting for a new logic to make it a reality. We are not merely dreaming of peace; we are building the infrastructure to achieve it, so humanity may finally reclaim its dignity, purpose, and joy.

Why are we not making progress on the human condition?

Because we are trying to solve global crises while we are still killing each other. We cannot meaningfully address ecosystem collapse, poverty, or water insecurity while fear and violence continue to dominate human behavior. Progress requires us to first change our behavior by changing our logic. Peaceful cooperation—rooted in responsibility, forgiveness, and mutual respect—is not the result of progress; it is the foundation of it.

Why is there so much anger in the world?

Humanity is experiencing a profound loss of joy because the species is “spinning out of control.” Fear has come to dominate the future, eroding belief in ourselves and our shared potential. Systems built on division exhaust the human spirit and fracture our sense of connection. Anger is the symptom; the deeper cause is a loss of meaning, trust, honor, and hope.

Why do you describe war as a business?

War is organized, financed, marketed, and perpetuated by systems that profit from fear. It persists not because it works, but because it pays. This logic strips humanity of compassion and conditions us to accept destruction as normal. If peace were managed with the same discipline, investment, and sense of honor as war, humanity would already live in a very different world.

What do you mean by running peace as a business?

If the marketing of war requires massive infrastructure, then peace must be approached with equal organization and intention. Peace is not a passive wish—it is a scalable model rooted in cooperation and compassion. By organizing humanity around peace, we create the efficiency needed to solve all other global crises and restore balance, dignity, and joy.

How do we address the military-industrial complex?

We do not need to destroy it; we need to redirect it. The same infrastructure, logistics, and brilliance currently devoted to destruction can be retasked toward life-affirming goals such as space exploration, disaster relief, ecological restoration, and global cooperation. When guided by awareness, honor, and responsibility, engines of destruction can become engines of progress.

Why focus on nuclear disarmament?

Nuclear weapons offer no true security. They drain resources, fuel paranoia, and threaten all life on Earth. Rather than protecting humanity, they delay catastrophe while increasing its scale. True security comes from trust, cooperation, and the collective courage to choose life over fear.

Does deterrence keep the peace?

Deterrence does not create trust or lasting safety. It sustains fear and reinforces the very conditions it claims to prevent. History shows that deterrence deters trust—not war. A peaceful future requires the willingness to replace fear with understanding and forgiveness.

How are inner peace and world peace connected?

A person cannot truly be at peace while knowing the world is armed to annihilate itself. Likewise, a peaceful world cannot be built by individuals living in fear or disconnection. Inner peace and global peace are reflections of the same collective consciousness—one grounded in compassion, responsibility, and respect for life.

What is the “fifth dimension”?

The fifth dimension is a higher state of collective consciousness—beyond fear, polarity, and separation. It represents humanity’s next evolutionary step, where compassion, unity, awareness, and honor guide our decisions instead of violence and domination.

What role does individual consciousness play?

Every thought contributes to the collective human mind. Fear compounds fear, while compassion and forgiveness compound healing. Global change begins when individuals accept responsibility for the energy they bring into the world and choose to act with awareness and integrity.

Why can’t technology—and specifically AI—save us?

Technology, including artificial intelligence, amplifies intention—it does not correct it. AI reflects the data, values, and logic we feed it; if that logic is rooted in fear and division, it will only accelerate our capacity for destruction. Without wisdom, technology makes our existing crises more efficient rather than resolving them.

Humanity does not need more computational power; it needs more awareness. We cannot expect algorithms to solve humanity’s deepest problems or break a 10,000-year cycle of war and fear on our behalf. Only by changing our own behavior—by changing our logic—can we responsibly retask powerful tools like AI and existing industrial infrastructure to serve as engines of progress, such as ecological restoration and water security.

What can we do?

What is required is a fundamental shift in collective consciousness—from an addiction to fear toward a commitment to peace. This shift follows a natural progression: education and awareness lead to empowerment, which leads to action.

ATFH advances this transition through a clear three-step approach. First, we work to unlearn 10,000 years of flawed logic that has normalized fear and violence. Next, we empower people through dialogue, media, and public engagement to reclaim responsibility and act with compassion and honor. Finally, we move from belief to impact by organizing resources and supporting solutions that create lasting change and restore humanity’s shared joy.

What is ATFH’s approach?

ATFH advances peace by addressing the root causes of conflict, not just its symptoms. We replace fear-based logic with awareness and understanding, empower people to reclaim responsibility for humanity’s future, and take strategic action by funding solutions in nuclear disarmament, poverty alleviation, water security, and ecological restoration. Our approach is grounded in compassion, dignity, and respect for the human family.

What is the call to action?

Stop being a spectator. Engage, learn, support, and act. Collective participation—guided by compassion, forgiveness, and honor—is the infrastructure required to secure humanity’s future and restore our shared sense of purpose and joy.

Why join A Time for Humanity™?

Because it offers hope—something there seems to be little of these days. Humanity is crying in its soul for salvation, yet the solution is not external; it already exists within our own awareness, waiting for us to embrace a new logic. To save ourselves, we must open our hearts and move from an addiction to fear toward a commitment to peace, shifting from being victims of a world “spinning out of control” to becoming its architects.

By joining A Time for Humanity™, you are not a spectator—you are helping build the infrastructure for a global awakening. Your involvement and contributions support the teaching of peace through our Peace Dialogues Program and fund real-world solutions through our Global Partnership Program. By unlearning the historical logic of violence and recognizing our true nature as one human family, humanity can finally step into its full potential—with dignity, compassion, and joy.
