Helping People Engage
More Constructively
in a Divided World
A Time for Humanity™ is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people navigate disagreement, uncertainty, and growing division with greater awareness, communication, and understanding.
Through facilitated dialogue, learning experiences, and practical reflection, we help people explore how assumptions, interpretations, fear, and reaction patterns shape human interaction.
Every day, people navigate disagreement, uncertainty, misunderstanding, and emotional reaction in conversations with family members, coworkers, neighbors, friends, and even strangers.
A Time for Humanity™ exists to help people better understand how those interactions unfold and how more constructive responses become possible. We believe people are capable of learning, adapting, reflecting, and engaging with greater openness, dignity, and understanding over time.
The Challenges We Face
At A Time for Humanity™, we believe many of these challenges are connected not only to political, economic, or environmental conditions, but also to the ways people communicate, react, interpret differences, and engage with one another during moments of stress, conflict, and uncertainty.
Over generations, fear, division, hostility, and survival-driven thinking have become deeply embedded in human behavior, institutions, and culture. These patterns influence how societies respond to conflict, how communities relate to one another, and how people navigate disagreement in everyday life.
While no single organization can solve every global challenge, ATFH believes meaningful change begins with greater awareness, healthier communication, stronger human connection, and a deeper capacity for cooperation across differences. We believe the way people engage with one another matters in our relationships, in our communities, and ultimately in the future of our world.
The Convene Experience
The Convene Experience is a facilitated learning environment where participants explore how human interaction patterns influence conversations, relationships, and communities.
Through conversation, reflection, and interactive discussion, participants explore how assumptions form during disagreement and uncertainty, and how greater awareness can support more thoughtful communication and engagement across differences.
